Essay Topics - How to Write a Good Essay Topic For College English
Essay Topics - How to Write a Good Essay Topic For College EnglishThe title of this article is a bit provocative, but I believe that if you've been struggling with writing good essays and papers, then you need to read this. In fact, as I say in the body of the article, your essay topics should be primarily writing prompts. That is, the paper or assignment that you are currently working on, needs to have a little 'nudge' in order to help your subconscious mind to understand what you want it to accomplish. Here's a tip for those of you who need a little nudge on how to write a good essay topic: Come up with a subject for your paper before you actually start writing your paper. Try to come up with a problem that you have encountered in your life and how you have dealt with it. Write down your thought process as you relate it to your current situation and then relate the solutions you came up with to your essay topic. It may take some time to come up with a lot of ideas, but it will help y ou when you try to deal with the current problems you are facing in your life. Once you have a list of topics, you can begin to brainstorm on how to relate each topic to your current situation and how you are going to solve your current dilemma. This is an ideal way to come up with a lot of ideas, but there are times when we may not be in a position to come up with any current problems. This does not mean that you should forget about them. You should probably just concentrate on other things, but let your essay topic reflect the current issues you are dealing with in your life.Take some time to find some specific examples to use, rather than just talking about how bad your current situation is. Again, this doesn't mean that the essay topic you are trying to come up with has to be an awful one. Just use some imagination and try to think of something on paper that is indicative of your current predicament.Let's talk a little bit about essay topics, when it comes to essay topics, most p eople like to use situations or issues that are very similar to their own. Some say that this doesn't work as well because you are only sharing a personal story, but it seems to me that people use personal stories much better. For example, people tend to find things funny when they share their personal problems with others.Personal stories are much more effective than any other topics because everyone can relate to them. When you discuss personal stories, you'll find that it is much easier to break down the pieces of the whole essay. In fact, I'd say that the more personal the topic is, the easier it is to analyze the different parts of the essay. Now, don't get me wrong, you should avoid essay topics that relate to your current situation, such as politics or religion. The reason is because these subjects are already very general, and most students already know a lot about them. They already have some idea about the issues that you are currently dealing with.
